There are over 3,000 languages spoken by six billion people on Earth, but only one of them is shared by all of us: images. It is no wonder then that a recent IDC report projects that the number of images captured in a single year to exceed 500 billion by 2010, a 100% increase over 2006. According to this same report, adopting a comprehensive and disciplined approach to managing images is a key to reducing the estimated $5 million lost by firms with 1000 employees.
To address this growing need, DualAlign is developing an image management system that enables users to identify, find and organize gigabytes of images in seconds. The system will allow users to find similar images with a click of a mouse and display the images in an easy to use environment.
