Our Automatic Image Registration and Recogniotion technology is capable of aligning image pairs having some combination of low overlap, substantial orientation and scale differences, large illumination differences (e.g. day and night), substantial scene changes, and different modalities. Our technology works for a wide range of imagery and it substantially out-performs algorithms based on keypoint matching alone. Below are sample registrations of some very tough images, performed with our software.
Dashpoint
This pair has extremely low overlap --- 2% of its image width. Can you find the overlap?
Brain MRI PD-T1
Our software doesn't need to know where and how it is taken. It will automatically register the images, even if they are in different modalities.
Melanoma
This pair has a color fundus retinal image and a frame of Fluorescein Angiogram sequence, showing how much appearance differences our algorithm can tolerate.
Day-Night
Even with substantial illumination differences between the images, our algorithm did not hesitate to produce the alignment.
White-Tower (Summer-Winter)
What doesn't change between winter's chill and summer's heat?
Extreme-Zoom
Do scale differences matter? NO!
Brugge Square
Wide-angle shots? No problem! We will produce a sub-pixel accurate alignment as well as telling you how much radial lens distortion exists in the images.
Whiteboard
What if there are only a few strokes? Sure, here it is.
Retina
This is another example of different imageries.
